Write a Note

Next time you cross something off your To-Do list add a little note. Did you get everything done? How long did it take? Did you overestimate or underestimate the required time?

I have been adding these little notes to my To-Do list for a few weeks now. And it has really helped me improve my To-Do lists. I have better judgment on how long it will take me to complete a task.

I also have started crossing things off that were not completed. For example, I had put on my To-Do list to write 3 blog posts today. But after the second one, I was out of ideas. So I crossed it off my list and wrote a note beside it say that I didn’t complete all 3 posts, because I had lost the flow for writing during the time period. Next time I will just put write 2 posts.
