A laptop isn't really mobile to carry, a netbook isn't even mobile enough. E-readers are as mobile as a normal book, so you can use it everywhere. Here in the Netherlands I expect to see e-readers everywhere within three years. Probably I would fix my own this year.. Nice post about one of the future gadgets! May not get the same depth of understanding, but it is better than simply blowing it off.
