Kevin over at Moments in Time has started the second week of the Synchroblogging and the topic this week is “I’m Usually in a Good Mood or Being Myself When….”

I want to focus on two things that puts me in a good mood: music and the future.

Music

I have been a musician for about 10 years. I am a pianist. I am actually a decent pianist, though my skills are slowly declining because of lack of practice. Through out high school I had intended on going to college to study music. Music is and will always be the joy of my life. There is something about the one and only universal language that gets me going.

What type of music do I like? All Music. Though I disagree with much of the lyrics that are put in pop music, I can atleast appreciate the musical value of the music. But my favorite genres of music are Classical, Jazz, and World Musics particularly Celtic.

The Future and Development
The other thing that makes me happy is thinking about the future, and what the human race can achieve if we put our minds to it. I am looking forward to things like…

• Space travel
• Nuclear Fusion
• Urban Development
• Architecture (Dubai is a fascinating place, with some wondrous architecture!)
• A new education system, that actually works
• Faster computers
• Cheaper computers
• Cure for disease, including aging
